I'm sorry, Randi, for just leaving art class early. I'm sure I seemed extremely rude but I couldn't do it and I couldn't make myself. I'm sorry if that makes me selfish. I'll make up for it and paint so pretty next week okay?

I went to Otherlands after school. The sort of new boy working there seemed to remember me from the show at DeCleyre and seems to enjoy memorizing people's orders. He asked me if I wanted tea, which is what I usually get, and he looked so happy to have known that even though I wanted coffee I said yes. Hattie met me. She was so pretty and complaining about feeling gross all the time and somehow she left without me really saying goodbye. Hannah and Ryan came by to study for a while. I walked to art and started painting and couldn't make myself do it. I burned myself out and had planned on not painting for a few more days but I tried anyway and couldn't do it. Every time I looked at the painting I thought I was going to burst in to tears. I told Randi I couldn't and I left back for Otherlands because Hannah and Ryan were still there. I saw Mary Claire, Louise's sister who is always a little curt I guess because we see each other all the time. Eileen showed up, which was weird. She made me laugh and the coffee gave me energy so I wasn't so wilted. I asked to go to the rope swing and Eileen, Ryan, and I went. There were kids in the front yard of the house though so we went and sat in the tall monkey grass and Ryan tried to teach Eileen to make that low whistle with her hands but I think I beat both of them at it. We sat on the corner for a while and when the kids left we took over the swing. We spun each other around on it and I got dirt on me and it made me feel so much better. Ryan brought me home and reminded me why I should maybe be happier.

Randi I'm afraid of how bad I'm going to miss you. I'm sorry for taking advantage of time.

I finished my letter to Matthew. It goes in the mail tomorrrrowwww.


Martha-
My spring break is March 12-18. Im seeing The Faint on the 12th and am crewing on a film shoot downtown on the 13th. But I should be back in Memphis on the 14th or so.
I'd love to see you if possible.
