Lately, my heart has been calling out to the youth of other countries. I don't know why--considering that I've only been overseas once and that was when I was born--but something about different cultures energizes and rejuvenates me. Perhaps it's because I sometime grow cynical of America's church. Don't get me wrong; we are in a time of change. The Church is transforming before our very eyes. Some people have no clue about the amazing shift the Church is going through right now. But that aside, I just feel as if there is SO much I want to do in so many places.
Today a rep from An Tobar Nua came--which is coffeehouse ministry located in Ireland. Obviously, I can't intern there for six months right now. NTM, I don't know how I'd raise the support. But I was looking at their webstie. (www.foundationinchrist.org) What they do there is so amazing. I'd love to be a part of it. I'd love to be a part of SOMETHING.
Oh boy . . . I'm getting restless. I love this town but sometimes it's too small for me.
Gots to get to work. More on this later.
