Yesterday evening, realising that I had missed the first episode of Series 2 of The Sarah Jane Adventures I did the following:
- Downloaded the episode from the BBC's i-player
- Hooked up a cable between my computer and my Widescreen TV
- Set up my graphic's card to clone my desktop screen onto the Widescreen TV as a second monitor
- Set up Windows Media Player 11 to use video acceleration
- Expanded the viewer to fullscreen
- turned up the computer speakers
- Pressed play
- Watched the first episode of Series 2 of The Sarah Jane Adventures in Widescreen in stunningly High Definition quality :)
I feel pleased with myself. That was relatively painless. Now if I could only find those episodes of Bleach...
