Last weekend(sun and mon) I went to Sudbury because my mom won some free tickets to Dynamic Earth back in February. We almost didn't get to because the letter she got was so messed up, but we got our free tickets. In Dynamic Earth, we went underground first. I've already been there, in grade 7, but it was still cool. After that, we went to a presentation about volcanoes and it was cool. The girl who was doing it made some fake volcanoes like the ones you do for a science fair, but she kept messing it up. It was still good. We also saw a presentation about the history of Sudbury that had two screens and the stage in the middle had a holographic video of a guy present it.Then we just looked around for a while. There was a thing we went though about how they mine and make the stuff into real metal, and other stuff. We looked at the gift shop and I got a postcard to put on my wall. After we were done, we went to Tim Hortons to eat then to Science North to see the Mummy show at the IMAX. Even though all of us had out tickets, no one checked to see if we had them. So if we wanted to, we could see the late Sunday show for free. The show was good. It was about mummies and pharaohs, stuff I already know about, but it was still cool. There was a guy in 1994 who donated his body to science so he could be mummified. That was interesting. Monday, we all went to Natasha's to baby-sit Nicolas. We went to the park and fed him lunch and it was fun.

Tuesday I went to the dentist and got school supplies. The dentist was okay, but I still don't like going. No cavities though. After, I went to Zeller's and got school supplies. I needed more this year because my binders are breaking, and I loose some stuff as the year goes on. You know school is starting when you go shopping for supplies and clothes. And when it gets cold but it's been cold almost all summer. After that I went home and for supper, my family and my aunt Joyce and Charlie went out. We had to go to the Zeller's restaurant because Charlie doesn't like anything that's not traditional. So no Chinese or Japanese or anything different. I got some pasta, and it was good.

Oh and week before last my cousins Megan and Jacob came over for a week and it was great sometimes and not-so-great other times but it was fun.
