I almost named this entry Geek A La Mode but then thought better of it.

     So, we all know those style magazines that have decorating tips for the rich and famous or highly fashionable...or at least those who pretend to be and conform to society's standards in that area...but what about the rest of us? The geek or the average person who thinks independently and/or can't afford a $500 Prada lampshade?
     And now with that basis, and the fact that this all started because of a box of pocky, I present to you: Tres Chic for Le Geek Style Guide and Decorating Tips. ^.^ Enjoy!

     Pocky boxes make great pencil holders or places to stash bookmarks and all sorts of other fun stuff!! And of course it comes with the bonus that you get to eat the pocky too *Munches*

     Got a ton of old Pokemon/Yu Gi Oh/Whatever cards lying around? Get a huge sheet of paper, some clear scotch tape and get creative! Pick your faves and arrange them however you want...personally, I <3 Squirtle.

     If you subscribe to any magazines, ie. Shounen Jump, Shoujo Beat, those usually have posters in some of the issues...pretty hot ones of Bleach guys I must say. Pull em out, pin em up and show off your style. =)

     Can't go wrong with a cork board. I'm sorry, but you just can't, it's every person's accessory for a room.

     They actually do have anime calendars! Not a very huge selection but some way cool ones, I have a Tsubasa one hanging up on my closet door now.

     Surf the booths for free stuff at Cons, you'd be amazed what you can find. I've gotten some pretty cool posters and other awesome freebies.

     As a general, non-geek tip, try rearranging stuff, throwing it into cool containers and just mixing things around, it'll give the room a fresh look quickly and you don't have to spend anything.
