i'm headed to NYC tomorrow, for a long weekend! i haven't been since i was ... well, let's just say i was a teenager the last time i was there. on the agenda:

1) hanging with three old friends who used to live in LA  at the same time i did  (two of whom i haven't seen in at least four years), plus three friends who currently live in LA, but will be out there for the same reason as me (see #5).

2) meeting my agent. yay!

3) also meeting neeshadm , which i am so very, very excited about!

4) taking the subway for the first time in new york, which i am willing to bet varies quite a bit from the CTA (and by varies, i mean is much, much more awesome).

5) and the reason for the trip - the wedding of two very good friends, who live in LA (but are both from the NY area).

it should be a busy weekend, filled with lots of friends, fun and new faces. i should have plenty of stories (and hopefully pictures) next week ...
