So I am not going to New Orleans for Decadence this year. I had it book and paid for already but my Mom is freaked out and wants me to help her with a big project in the house that weekend.

Sometimes you just know when its easier to stay yet that means it will be a DULL freaking weekend.
But I know that this will make my mom happy. Sometimes it is really worth making mom happy.

Also, it means I can get a leg up on the quilt I am making to auction at ILSb.

But I will miss sleaziness in New Orleans. That and coffee late night at Cafe Du Monde.
