On Tuesday 30th, along with eight other friends, I roamed around Parramatta Westfields in search for the perfect formal dress. Apart from me, there were Parul, Yoland, Christina, Anna, Sam, Shirley, Grace and Alice.

At 10am, we met up at Citybeach and then left to search for more dresses. In one particular store, Anna tried on an extremely adorable short, mostly blue dress. She looked so gorgeous in it! It had a beach atmosphere about it, so I totally loved it! I would have taken a photo of it, except the shop assistance came over to tell me that it wasn’t allowed (Not that I didn’t know of course, but why not take a small risk? What’s the worse that could happen?).

In another store, Parul tried on a beautiful shiny sky-blue silk dress that virtually had “PARUL!” written all over it! It was perfect for her, as it matched her hair and skin tone so well! (I just talked to Parul about it just now, and it turns out that her mother doesn’t want her to buy it). Oh well…

In Harts, there were a lot of magnificent dresses, except the price tag was too high for the majority of us. I loved a particular red dress I tried on, but I don’t regret not purchasing it though. Alice had a body that suited nearly every dress she tried on! She’s going to look absolutely dazzling on the formal night – I’m sure of it!

Our group of friends split into two frequently, as Christina, Sam and Shirley didn’t appear to enjoy following the rest of us. When we met up at lunch to eat at the food court, I was told that in one particular store, when Anna tried on a dress, the shop assistant told her to go and buy some filler, because she was a bit flat. Haha… poor Anna.

Christina looked awesome in red! She found her perfect dress in Portmans! It was elegant and sexy at the same time!

While waiting for my friends to try on dresses in the change rooms, I took the opportunity to take out my camera and snap a few memory-images for fun!

In Myers, many of us dragged in expensive dresses to try on! A particular green one looked really pretty on Yoland!

Towards the end of the shopping trip, Anna pulled us along to show a dress that she really loved! Personally, I didn’t think that it looked as good as the first one she tried on and the price was definitely too high for such a plain dress. (I talked to Anna after the trip to ask if she had purchased it, and luckily she said that she decided not to buy it, but to buy the first one instead! Yippee!)

Unfortunately, I hadn’t fallen in love with any dress in Westfields, but I’m not devastated. I’ve still got time to wait for that perfect dress!
