So after the awesomeness that was the Harry and the Potters concert, I went the following Sunday to Apex, NC (it took me 6 hours to get there) and saw The Remus Lupins, Draco and the Malfoys, The Whomping Willows, and Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills at the Eva Perry Library.

It was a truly epic show! Voldemort even tried to stop the rock during Whompy's set (it thunderstormed on us) but we took the show inside and they played an acoustic set instead. It was amazing show. I spent $90 on merch. The Remus Lupins new CD is amazing, best album ever! I just can't get enough of it.

Alex is the nicest guy ever. Even more so when I went up to him to have him sign my CD, and before I could so much as say hi, he told me "you are awesome" while high-fiving me. So (completely shocked) I asked him why, and he said that everytime he looked up, he saw me singing to all his songs... Could I love him even more? 
"Alex, YOU are made of win!"

Anyways, the next day (after having slept 2 hours the night before and worked all day) I drove to Atlanta to see the same guys. Totally worth it. It was a completely different show and they wrocked the bookstore! I've got most of it on video. It was totally worth the lack of sleep I got those 2 days.

So when I was leaving, I went to Alex to say goodbye. He said thanks for coming while he gave me a hug (squee) and I told him what an amazing show it was and he told me I was lucky because I got to experience two completely different shows. I told him how much I loved Nevermind the Furthermore and that I'd see him at Wrock Chicago. I must've looked sad or something because he asked me if I was going to the Birmingham, AL show. I told him that I didn't know, because I hadn't heard of it and had know idea how far it was from where I live. So he told me to try to check it out and because it's really not that far away (about the same distance to Apex) I'm going too! How can I say no to Alex?? Also because I forgot to ask him for a hug (I need that picture) and I want to buy the other TRL tshirt.

I'll stop fangirling him now ;)
