I got in from the Portsmouth gig at like 04:00.
I've not been to bed yet.
I'm exhausted. I'm headachey. And I'm fucking FREEZING
I am SO tempted to call in sick today - just say that mum had reacted to the sedative and that I've been up all night with her, or something like that. But I'd feel really bad about doing that because a) it is my own fault i'm feeling this tired and b) i have only been there a week, y'know?

Fucking amazing!.
Dane has now joined the band, taken over from Rob on bass and Rob is now 'just' lead singer/front man.
And can I just say that they just get better and better every time we see them. Somewhere in the last four months, they've made the jump from being paint-by-numbers-power-pop band (which is never a bad thing, don't get me wrong) to being a fledgling proper rock band.
They're nothing like the band we first saw in Leicester in October 2007. I swear I felt like a right proud mum or something watching them last night. They're were just plain fucking fantastic.

Oh, and Chris J from Army Of Freshman randomly threw himself on me in the bar! *giggles* was cool.
Chel & I are probably going to go and see them again on Friday in Tamworth.
We'll see.

Still don't know what to do re: work today.
