So, tomorrow is Samhain (original Pagan name for Halloween)....and I'm actually NOT looking forward to it in my whole life, it's my favorite holiday, dammit. But, I can't go trick-or-treating anymore which I'm having a hard time coping with for some reason.

Instead, since I forgot to ask le mie amiche (my female friends) Heather or Esmeralda from my Italian class if they had anything planned for Halloween day, I'm stuck with the very bane of my existence [at home] on Halloween: handing out candy to little girls dressed up like fairy and Disney princess, teenage girls in playboy bunny costumes and stupid teenage boys in house/street clothes. 

I'm desprate to escape the house tomorrow, but I'm fucking BROKE until AFTER Halloween (monthly allowance, go figure).  I kind of want to see The Haunting of Molly Hartley, but my mom would see right through that as anexcuse to get out of seeing all those beggers at the door every five minutes. 

Can you blame me?

I love Halloween, but not the candy duty.  Anyone going to a Halloween party possibly in Long Beach, SoCal?
