Arrhh… Today’s the 1st day of Ramadan!

Actually I didn’t even remember it was Ramadan today after all that resort bliss. Oh yeah, sorry about not updating about the resort, for those who don’t know I’ve gone to Desaru for the last 3 days. It’s a way of ending the holidays & also an escape before we’re jammed at home because of the fasting month. Yet it doesn’t make a difference to me whether it’s the fasting month or not because I’m already not eating much scale to the point of might as well fast on normal days & the extra prayers & quiet moments helps reflection.

To kick Ramadan off, I have done… nothing but sleep. XD I’ve been staying up the whole day of yesterday and today after I got back & caught little unintentional naps in between. I’m so bushed right now & the food at dusk does nothing but make me a ‘better’ sloth. I still wanna sleep & wake up for Koi & sahur later!

This morning after sahur I told Koi how Ramadan works, the fasting, sahur & values, all the time really nervous about it. Talking about religion isn’t always our forte except for when it’s Christmas (I love Christmas because it’s just cheerful! ^_^). Yeah we’re happy together & all, but him being a Christian & me a Muslim, we kinda clash in beliefs. That’s the only thing that we don’t do as an ‘our’ but as a ‘my’, and that makes me a little disturbed because we have everything else perfect, and the thing is that the beliefs we’re brought up with will affect how we’re going to live life in the future. We try to concentrate on better things in the relationship though, but whenever the marriage topic comes up (yeah, we’re very avid about growing old together =P), it gets uncomfy too ‘cos it’s intertwined with religion. However we believe that there’s always a way to reconcile & have deep faith in love for a better future. =)

YEY for ice cream! I think I need more sweet things to regain energy. Lookie, am singing like a lark again! =D
