It's a beautiful day out, so Lily and I walked to the beach (where we are now!) It definitely doesn't feel like the end of October today, I had to turn off our heat!

Yesterday, we bought some new toys for Lilian - its so fun that she's finally starting to appreciate toys! My mom already got her a big butterfly that she pinned on her stroller (while she was babysitting), so we got 3 more dangling bugs (I like bugs!)... one makes chimes, one squeaks, and one rattles. =) Lilian enjoys her mobile (we have the Rainforest collection one) so she'll now tolerate being in her crib for 10 minutes or so at a time... which is more than the 0 minutes of before. We also got her wrist rattles, which we haven't tried yet. Next time we have extra money, I want the Rainforest jumper for her! She's still enjoying her BebePod chair, and that's fun too!

Halloween is coming up... missy enjoys staying home, eating Pizza Hut & candy and watching scary movies... so that is our plans (again) this year. But it'll be Lilian's 1st (of many) horror movie marathons! I love Halloween. Unfortunately, I didn't decorate inside our house this year... I was/am too depressed, but I'm not going to let that happen for Xmas. Last year, I bought/decorated our Xmas tree the same day we had people over for "Friendsmas" (when we celebrate and exchange gifts with friends since we all go see family on Xmas day, it'll likely fall on Sat/Sun the 20/21st this year). This year I'm going to put up a tree the days after Thanksgiving like I did previous years... and go all out decorating. Baby's 1st Christmas!

Also, we're going Thanksgiving (on the real day) at our house this year too... we're inviting Lilian's entourage (a.k.a. The Usual)... her dad (Brontis) and his date, and all 3 of her godparents - Amber & Rich, and Wick. And of course, anyone else local with no where else to go!

We still have no cable (boo!) so tonight we'll go to Dawn's house (3rd night in a row) to watch Dexter & Californication (which I think is so boring, but I watch out of boredom!) Hopefully, I can use her internet also to upload Lilian's portraits from yesterday. They're so cute.

Sometimes when we sit at the beach, I look out at Fire Island (you can see it along the horizon) and think its a magical place. It's so silly that we've lived here for 16 months and I'm kinda obsessed with going there, and we've never been.

Lilian's been asleep, so I'm going to walk back home now & maybe edit photos (if she lets me.)
