( y'know, Xmas present to myself :} )I have been sixteen for a week and a day, and I've been pretty happy - except for today (GUHHH STUPED PERIOD). Nadia told me, during French class, that Shannon (freshman who clearly hates me) got FREE TICKETS TO THE PANIC CONCERT on tuesday - which is election day, and we have no school so another reason to go in my favor! so I asked her how she got fee tickets? with Nadia by my side but she answered Nadia. and only looked from me to N then me then N and me again. AWKWARD. yesterday I went to church and this pastor that preaches to college students (but he's totally cool and young!) told us about the importance of prayer and stressed that with prayer, anything is possible. so today I prayed about 3 -4 different occasions to God in Jesus' name to help me meet & see my favorite band in this universe, who I gave my concert virginity to (lol how odd does that sound?!). I NEED TO SEE THEM AGAIN. I don't think God has had me miss TAI and Panic on about 6 occasions over 2 years since November 7th, 2006. he does it for a reason. and I mean, hello, this sophomore year has been going so well!
so I agree with Courtni - if God has a boyfriend in mind for me then I'll wait, 'cause it's okay. I have flirty awesome guy friends that love me while I wait, lol :D
  ( it took me an hour to clean my room last weekend ) Decision '08: yesterday, all the social studies classes had a Mock Election. and since I have World History as my first period, I'm usually a zombie once I get to class. this one guy said he as voting for McCain because "he's white, I'm white!" ummm, not the best reason to vote for someone. then someone brought up the mock election during 3rd period, and then I snapped. Obama won't be a very good president because he's "inexperienced". McCain is so old he might die before his term is over (if elected). Obama's just going to raise taxes. Ralph Nader's trying to legalize weed, so let's vote for him!
I started telling anyone who would listen to a)stop giving me bullcrap, and b)to use common sense. you cannot tell me that John McCain was born with the knowledge on how to be a politician (y'know, 'cause he's perfect). I highly doubt that. you have to be inexperienced at some point.

I may not know all the details on what the candidates are planning on doing if elected, but I think his motto for change suits the times. srsly, 4 more years of the same thing? No, you're not Bush, but if you voted with him 90% of the time, you may as well be.
