If some of you have been reading at the ReclamationInfo site, you probably will have noticed that there's been some deletions going on.

The name that was deleted, should not have been, in our (mine and SimonRaven's) opinion. It is the name of a public figure, a politician from near Ottawa. He also owns a numbered company, and I believe under its aegis, includes his activities as the owner of the caledoniawakeupcall DOT ca site, which anyway is a commercial site as he had a paypal sticker on it as well as paid advertising. This makes the site a commercial one, and business owners and employees are not exempt from having their names published anymore than politicians are.

So I do disagree that his name should be censored out of my posts.

Further this individual not only devoted space on the website, which was about Caledonia to a "smear" campaign against Simon Raven and myself last summer, he has very recently (19 Feb) threatened to do so again.

The site was used to ramp up tensions between Six Nations and Caledonia, and we have never consented to having anything about us published to that racist site, which he also recently admitted publicly is "another anti-native site" just like the DOT com site is (his words).

At best, he is trying to make money from the situation in Caledonia and interfere in a way that is not in the interest of peace or resolution. At worse, he used and has said he is planning to continue using his site, to try to "smear" supporters of the Reclamation of Six Nations land who are of other Indigenous nations (e.g. us) and who live far from Kanonhstaton (but may visit ;) )

That is just plain interference with us and our right to support what we have every right to support and opinions which we have every right to hold and we will not accept that. Nor will we be participating in non-accountability for what is said and done by any public figure.

We have, however, decided to keep this off the Reclamation Info board, and instead have started up a board here where we may and others may post freely or just inform themselves about the website owner of "the other" website devoted to Caledonia, caledoniawakeupcall DOT ca.

Since so many board owners, neutral, or not, who seem to have offended the pair of caledoniawakeupcall site (dot CA and dot COM) owners have been (we believe) threatened, intimidated, and harrassed, maybe it's time for another board, at least that's what we believe. ;)

I don't like posting things, and then having the board admin harrassed, or threatened, because of what I have written, and I am not going to be intimidated by someone who's made extremely racist comments to me and about me, and has threatened to disrupt the peace of our community at a Pow-Wow where women, children and families are to be found, and so... that's another reason to start up this board. I've got a lot to say on this subject. And for sure Simon Raven is going to respect my right to say it, guaranteed. :D :D :D
