Alright folks, this aught to be fun.  Currently I am in Alabama with my fiance Vic, Kat and Rebecca and last night we went out to grab a movie we could all sit and watch.  Well Kat picked up a great one and after only reading the first sentence of the summery we all decided that we had to see it.  It's called...

Death Tunnel!

(wikipedia summery Five college girls who were attending an initiation party wake up inside an abandoned sanatorium. They are told by a strange voice over the intercom that they must spend five hours inside, with five ghosts. Although this starts off as prank, both the girls and the prankster find themselves in a fight to prevent history from repeating itself.) <-- this is no where near as awesome as the summery on the back of the film which includes phrases like "sexy coeds"

So here is my review of the movie.  It starts out okay, but from the get-go you can tell that the acting is going to be horrible, which isn't all that surprising considering most of the lead actresses were all porn stars.  From there the movie just got worse, with attempts to be artistic by remaining ambiguous and flashing between the past and the present which all failed miserably.  There were some boobs, but really who hasn't seen those and we all agreed that the movie could have been better had it been a soft core porn.  Slowly the 5 girls begin to die off in ways just as ambiguous as the rest of the film (except one, she gets stabbed with a glass shard by another of the girls...and "acciedent")  As the movie continues they try to introduce reasons as to why everything is happening, i.e. plot, but its all overacted and quite hilarious.  Now the actual death tunnel isn't mentioned until the last 15 or so minutes of the film and it isn't actually seen until the last 5.  The end of the movie comes together with a chase scene to techno music (a dude in a mask pushing a gurny is what is following them) and a "terrifying" trek down the "death tunnel".  The ending left all of us flabergasted and confused.

Now, I being a scaredy cat had to look away  a few times but that is because my mind tends to work overtime in these situations.  What I can say, is that if you are looking for a horror film so bad that you appreciate other bad horror films more, this is the one.  Oh and the cover looks like this
