Until Your Heart Stops Beating A JacoBella FanMix
1. Monsters by Matchbox Romance
"We are the shakers, we are the monsters underneath your bed, believe what you read We are, we are mistaken, we are the voices inside your head, believe what you see..."
Werewolf," I gasped. Yes, that was the word that I was choking on. The whole world lurched, tilting the wrong way on its axis. What kind of a place was this? Could a world really exist where ancient legends went wandering around the borders of tiny, insignificant towns, facing down mythical monsters? Did this mean every impossible fairy tale was grounded somewhere in absolute truth? Was there anything sane or normal at all, or was everything just magic and ghost stories? Newmoon, chapter 12; Intruder, page293-294
2. Autumn Monologue By From Autumn to Ashes
"Why can't I be what you need? A new improved version of me but I'm nothing so good, I'm nothing..."
"I'm sorry that I couldn't… before… I wish I could change how I feel about you, Jacob. Maybe… maybe I would change. Maybe, if you gave me some time… just don't quit on me now, Jake. I can't take it." "No. Don't think like that, Bella, please. Don't blame yourself, don't think this is your fault. This one is all me. I swear, it's not about you." "It's not you, it's me. There's a new one." "I mean it, Bella. I'm not. I'm not good enough to be your friend anymore, or anything else. I'm not what I was before. I'm not good." Newmoon, chapter: 11 Cult, page 271
"I'll break in two over you, over you, I'll break in two..now you see me, now you don't..now you need me..now you don't.."
And I was alone. So much better. Now I could hear the faint rustle of the matted leaves beneath my toenails, the whisper of an owl’s wings above me, the ocean — far, far in the west — moaning against the beach. Hear this, and nothing more. Feel nothing but speed, nothing but the pull of muscle, sinew, and bone, working together in harmony as the miles disappeared behind me. If the silence in my head lasted, I would never go back. I wouldn’t be the first one to choose this form over the other. Maybe, if I ran far enough away, I would never have to hear again. . . . I pushed my legs faster, letting Jacob Black disappear behind me. Eclipse, Epilogue--Choice, page 629
3. Forfeit by Three Days Grace
I think the title says all, don't you think?
“It’s no fun beating someone who forfeits.” Eclipse, chapter 15: Wager, page 341
4. Give Until There's Nothing Left by Relient K
"...how much is too much to give you, well, I may never know, so I'll give until there's nothing left..."
“I’ll be your friend, Bella. I won’t ask for more than that.” “I think it’s too late for that, Jake. How can we be friends, when we love each other like this?” “Maybe . . . it will have to be a long-distance friendship.” Eclipse, chapter 26; Ethics, page 597 “I’m not going to cut you in half anymore, Bella.” Eclipse, chapter 26:Ethics, page 598
5. All Over You by The Spill Canvas
"Yeah, he's a looker. but I think it's guts that matters most, I've displayed them for you, string all about from coast to coast."
“Is that what it comes down to? Good looks?” Eclipse, chapter 4: Nature, page 110
"I gotta feel you in my bones again, I'm all over you, I'm not over you, I want to taste you one more time, this life is way too short to get caught up and all mixed up when I just want you to love me back...why can't you just love me back?"
“That should have been our first kiss. Better late than never.” Eclipse, Chapter 23; Monsters, page 528-529
6. Come Right Out And Say It by Relient K
"..why don't you come right out and say it, even if the words are probably going to hurt I'd rather have the truth than something insincere...why don't you come right out and say it, what it is you're thinking though I'm thinking that it's not what I want to here.."
“I’m in a hurry, Bella. Why don’t you get it over with?” “Just say the words, and be done with it.” Eclipse, chapter 23: Monsters, page 522
7. Before You Leave by Racoon
"...before you leave me now, tell me that you will be alright, that 'there's not much to say' and that all you know is that it's time, before I lose the chance to say goodbye to you again...I won't ask you to stay anymore now that's you're leaving but just before you shut the door won't you believe me when I say that I'll miss you..."

8. Reaching by Jason Reeves "You're inches from my fingertips, I've come as close as I can get, I'm reaching but the rest is up to you..."
“You love me, too. Not the same way, I know. But he’s not your whole life, either. Not anymore. Maybe he was once, but he left. And now he’s just going to have to deal with the consequence of that choice — me.” Eclipse, chapter 15: Wager, page 330
9. Come in Closer by Blue October
"I want you to come in closer..." “You could ask me,” “Come back,” "That’s not what I’m talking about.” “...will you kiss me, Jacob?” Eclipse, Chapter 23: Monster, page 525
10. With Me by Sum 41
"I want you to know, with everything I won't let this go, these words are my heart and soul, I hold on to this moment you know. Cause I'd bleed my heart out to show, and I won't let go."
“Until your heart stops beating, Bella,” he said. “I’ll be here — fighting. Don’t forget that you have options.” Eclipse, chapter 15; Wager, page 330
11. The Great Escape by Boys Like Girls
"Throw it away, forget yesterday, we'll make the great escape, won't hear a word they say, we don't know them anyway. watch and learn, we are finally free tonight... "
Jacob waved to me urgently. “Run, Bella!” he yelled over the engine’s roar...Jacob revved his engine, grinning. I jumped on the back of his seat, wrapping my arms tightly around his waist. I caught sight of Alice, frozen at the edge of the cafeteria, her eyes sparking with fury, her lip curled back over her teeth. I shot her one pleading glance. Then we were racing across the blacktop so fast that my stomach got lost somewhere behind me. “Hold on,” Jacob shouted. I hid my face in his back as he sped down the highway. I knew he would slow down when we hit the Quileute border. I just had to hold on till then. I prayed silently and fervently that Alice wouldn’t follow, and that Charlie wouldn’t happen to see me. . . . It was obvious when we had reached the safe zone. The bike slowed, and Jacob straightened up and howled with laughter. I opened my eyes. “We made it,” he shouted. “Not bad for a prison break, eh?” He laughed triumphantly. “What do you want to do today?” “Anything!” I laughed back. It felt great to be free. Eclipse, chapter 7: Unhappy Ending page 171
12. Swans by Unkle Bob
"..you told me that you love me but you never want to see me again..."
"Go home, Bella. I can't hang out with you anymore." Not as bad! Not as bad! my mind tried to comfort me. It was true. This wasn't as bad. This wasn't the end of the world, not again. This was just the end of what little peace there was left behind. That was all. Not as bad, I agreed, then added, but bad enough. I'd thought Jake had been healing the hole in me—or at least plugging it up, keeping it from hurting me so much. I'd been wrong. He'd just been carving out his own hole, so that I was now riddled through like Swiss cheese. I wondered why I didn't crumble into pieces. Newmoon, chapter 11: Cult, page 263
13. The Investigation by Sugarcult
"..this could be perfect, it could be worth it, it could be perfect if I wasn't worthless...breathe in slowly, hearts beating slowly, damaged by habits that haunt you..."
How much I wished that Jacob Black had been born my brother, my flesh-and -blood brother, so that I would have some legitimate claim on him that still left me free of any blame now. Heaven knows I had never wanted to use Jacob, but I couldn't help but interpret the guilt I felt now to mean that I had. Even more, I had never meant to love him. One thing I truly knew—knew it in the pit of my stomach, in the center of my bones, knew it from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, knew it deep in my empty chest—was how love gave someone the power to break you. I'd been broken beyond repair. Newmoon, chapter 9: Third Wheel, page 218
14. Near to You by A Fine Frenzy
"..near you I am healing but it's taking so long and though he's gone and you are wonderful it's hard to move on...I'm better near to you.."
I was beginning to think it was mostly Jacob. It wasn't just that he was always so happy to see me, or that he didn't watch me out of the corner of his eye, waiting for me to do something that would mark me as crazy or depressed. It was nothing that related to me at all. It was Jacob himself. Jacob was simply a perpetually happy person, and he carried that happiness with him like an aura, sharing it with whoever was near him. Like an earthbound sun, whenever someone was within his gravitational pull, Jacob warmed them. It was natural, a part of who he was. Newmoon, chapter 5: Cheater, page 145
15. We Are Broken by Paramore
"Keep me locked inside your arm-like towers, tower over me...we are broken, how must we do to restore our innocence and all the promise we adore..."
"We're a pretty messed-up pair, aren't we? Neither one of us can hold our shape together right." "Pathetic," "At least we have each other," "At least there's that," Newmoon, chapter 15: Pressure, page 349
16. Love Affair by Copeland
" Just let me love who I want to love..."
"You shouldn't waste it on me," "It's what I want to do, as long as you still like to be with me." "I can't imagine how I could not like being with you," "I can live with that." Newmoon, chapter 9: Third Wheel, page 213
17. Breathe Me by Sia
"Hurt myself again today, and the worst part is there's no one else to blame, be my friend...hold me, wrap me up.."
Eventually, I couldn't even walk anymore, because I couldn't breathe. I sat down on a patch of semidry rocks and curled up in a ball. Jacob found me like that, and I could tell from his expression that he understood. "Sorry," he said right away. He pulled me up from the ground and wrapped both arms around my shoulders. I hadn't realized that I was cold until then. His warmth made me shudder, but at least I could breathe with him there. Newmoon Chapter 15: Pressure, page 351
18. Stay With Me by Danity Kane (I know this is more of a Bella song but that's done already)
"I'm trying, hoping for the day my touch is enough to take the pain away..."
“But you do want me around.” “Yes.” “Then I’ll stick around.” “You’re a glutton for punishment,” “Yep.” Eclipse, chapter 15: Wager, page 329
"Please, Bella. I'm begging." "Jake, I have to—" "You don't, though. You really don't. You could stay here with me. You could stay alive. For Charlie. For me." "Don't die, Bella, Don't go. Don't." Newmoon, chapter 18: The Funeral, page 423
