1.  I had no ravioli and I had a hankering for some.  I decided to go with ingredients I had on hand -- this might sound a bit bizarre but it turned out quite tasty.  Toss whole wheat rotini with pesto, some extra garlic (because there's never enough garlic in prepared pesto), ricotta cheese and chopped fresh tomato.  Perhaps it sounds ghastly, but it was actually quite delish.

2.  I must, must, must get batteries for my camera.  Wren, a box from you arrived a few days ago (I haven't opened it because I got to the lovely decorating inside and wanted to take photos first -- okay, I'm bizarre.)  Also, Mandy's gorgeous photos arrived.  I am going to have to do a ton of photo entries to catch up on everything when I get the damn batteries!  Gah.  Perhaps tomorrow I'll stop by after work.  If not then, definitely by the weekend. 

3.  Work is a bit crazy right now.  The inspectors are going through the dorms and listing all the work that needs to be done to get them in shape for this fall.  We had over 300 work orders come in today, and almost all of them needed to be adjusted in some way.  We are still tweaking the system.  I've noticed a huge improvement in the traffic.  It makes a big difference when 20,000 go home for the summer!

4.  Last week I had a terrible stabbing pain in my right side, just under my rib cage.  It sort of acted up Sunday, too.  This afternoon was terrible.  In fact, it knocked the wind out of me several times.  I was worried it was my appendix, but when I poked at it today to indicate where it was, Mike said if that were my appendix what I had just done would kill me.  Besides, he says, my appendix is lower.  Jenny is worried because my back hurts in that one spot, too.  Now everyone is diagnosing me.  R thinks I have gall and kidney stones, Jenny thinks I need my gall bladder removed, Mike isn't sure what it is but it doesn't sound good.  My boss thinks maybe I just have gas.  Hahaha...  Whatever it is if it doesn't stop soon, I suppose I'll have to go to the doctor.  Have I mentioned how much I hate doctors?  There's nothing like misdiagnosis and a bunch of drugs to make you feel worse than you did in the first place to fix you all up.  :-P  I do have one good doctor, but he's a specialist.  I need a new general doctor.  And it's perfect to go hunting for a doctor when you're fixing to have an appendectomy.  *rolling eyes*  Mom, don't worry about any of this -- Jenny's already got it covered.  She told me today that she's a Jewish mother, damnit, and I was going to go to the doctor because she's worried about me.

5.  I'm almost halfway through my first Moleskine comic book!  Woohoo!  It's certainly taken some interesting twists and turns along the way!
