the weekend was a whirlwind of wonderful & ease.
mack & i have this travelin thing down to a science, and the addition of space for days in the pathfinder is awesome beyond words. if only gas were cheaper, but fortunately its not THAT shitty on gas, and fortunately i gots mad loot for road trips. yey.
slinky 9 came & went and this time, i even managed to rememebr the majority of it.  yays...greeting was fun & setup/takedown was a breeze. best yet was not having to go the entire way to LA & instead crashing at econo lodge the night before in gorman - dogs allowed!
i think that was the best part of this years slinky.. about 10 dogs were brought along, collectively, witht he extremed of them reaching froma  4 month old rambunkshious mini-pin, to a big as fuk white horse of a great dane. seriosly. slinky 9- one for the dogs. all dogs involved had a blast, beef was stoked & i truly belive he LOVES hot weather. once home, he wanted to just lounge outside int he sun forever. a hot dog is a happy dog.

the other week or so ago, a lady bopped her parked car into my parked car. fortunately for me, i was still sitting in my parked car &  had to walk after her, as she decided to keep on trying to back out of the space she was parked in...blah blah blah, her insurance is paying for the softball size dent & scrape on my rear passenger door. i dropped my truck off & they gave me a crappy rental - a chevy cobalt. whoo. its got xm radio & an aux input, which is nice for ipodding. not terrible. and i managed to fit giant art frames into it today at ikea. awesome. ok chevy cobalt, perhaps you are not as crappy as i had imagined.

i am consumed with getting an airstream before burning man and not spending assloads of money on one.  it must be less than 22 feet, preferably less than 15k and in faboo shape. i want to put some work into it in a minor way, but not remodel the damn thing.
i am on the hunt ...aluminum lust.

speaking of hunt, i lusted for crabs last night. i called SO many places today, on my day off, for crabs. i finally found a place in berkeley, near monterey market. 5 crabs sit... prolly no-so-live, in my fridge, waiting to meet their ultimate doom upon macks arrival home. my tummy is ecstatic just waiting.

ps. i own tickets (good seats, too!) to the nkotb concert in san jose. sigh.
