PLAYER

NAME: Your name or alias.
AGE: Just so we know you're legally allowed to be on LJ and play in this game. You're free to give a general bracket if you don't want to tell specifics. Lying about your age will get you banned if we discover you aren't old enough to be here, no questions about your quality of writing or maturity - the law is the law.
PERSONAL LJ: Your personal LiveJournal. Not required, but preferred...
EMAIL: Required, because we need this to contact you if issues come up. It is also helpful for other players to contact you this way. name[AT]site[DOT]com
MESSENGER(S): Please list your usernames on AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, whatever you happen to use. Not required, but extremely recommended, because it's faster than email.

CHARACTER

NAME: Your character's name.
FANDOM: The show, book, movie, etc. that they come from. (For allowed fandoms, see the FAQ.)
TIMELINE PERIOD: At what point they are taken from in their canon - i.e., chapter 131, just before this happens, but before that.
BACKGROUND: A general survey of your character: good things to touch on would be personality, personal history, their role in canon. Abilities, too, if it's applicable, especially if they happen to be particularly godmodery. (In which case they've got to be toned down; see the FAQ for help.) The golden rule here is quality, not quantity - novels are not required.

SAMPLES

FIRST PERSON: A sample of how your character would be speaking if they were posting in rivelata. Minimum of 3 sentences.
THIRD PERSON: A sample of how you would write your character in a log in rivelatalogs. Minimum of 100 words.
