Jensen smiled and lifted her up.

-         Mac I thought that you were with mom and dad at mall.

-         We were there! But dad wanted to see the new player. – She mumbled and buried her nose in his neck. – Jens I want Mike to buy me an ice cream.

-         You have it! – Mike smiled.

-         Who’s that angel? – Her gaze fall on Jared.

-         That’s the new player. – Jens smiled to her.

-         Put me down Jen! – She asked.

-         Why?

-         Put me down! I want to see his wings!

-         Mac you are twelve stop acting like two! – Jens and Mike laughed.

-         Just put me down! –she stuck her bottom lip out.

-         Okay then… - Jensen smiled again with his shiny smile and let her go.

Mac ran to Jared and hugged his leg.

-         You are an angel right? – She asked rising her head up.

Jared blinked, once, twice, then looked at Jensen and then down at the little girl again. He grinned and picked her up in the crook of his arm so that they were at one level.

-         Why would you think that I’m an angel, sweetie? I have a little sister just about your age.

-         Your eyes! – Mac chicks covered with pink. – They are full with good. – She hugged him by impulse. – And you are like big stuffed toy.

Jensen choked when she said this. Damn maybe at the moment he was a little envious of his sister.

Jared smiled sheepishly when the little girl practically wrapped herself around him standing awkwardly in the middle of the field with his hair sticking out. He looked at Jensen and shrugged his shoulders as if to say “Dude, I’m not doing anything, don’t freak…”

-         Sasquatch! – The new basketball player turned his head in time to see his big brother, a college student, coming in with his wicked smile. He huffed out an annoyed breath. – Already getting familiar with the ladies, I see. – Jared showed him the finger careful as to prevent Mac from seeing. – Oh, don’t be rude, Jaredina…

-         Meet my brother Jeff… - said Jared to the seniors and rolled his eyes.

-         Sasquatch?! – Jensen eyebrows lifted up. – Nice to meet you I’m Jensen and the girl around your brother’s neck happens to be my little sister.

-         He is an angel! – Mac said and hid her head on Jared’s shoulder.

-         It seems that you just lost your sister Jen! – Mike slapped him on the shoulder.

Jensen smiled.

-         What are you going to do on Halloween? – She whispered in Jared’s ear.

Mike and Jens heard this and Jen’s eyes wide open shaking his head “NO” Mike smiled with a big happy smile.

-         So, tell me, is my brother pathetic at basketball? – Jeff raised his brows hopefully.

-         I don’t know… - answered Jared to Mac a little unsure where this was going.

-         Actually he is damn good. And why are you calling him Sasquatch and Jaredina? – Jens curiosity was awakened.

-         Come to our Halloween party. – She whispered again.

-         And before that with Jen and Chris and one our friend which graduated we will meet in the woods for a beer, a fire, some guitar and things like this. – Mike whispered too.

-         Because he’s my little brother and I like to tease him. – Jeff shrugged his shoulders.  – And he is freakishly tall.

-         Okay, maybe I’ll come to the party. – nodded Jared. It was only two days away anyway.

-         Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiii! – Mac shouted and gave him a childish kiss on the cheek. – Like I said you are an angel! – And she hugged him stronger.

-         Your brother is pretty skilled. I think he could make a future with basketball and maybe take the captain’s spot next year when Mike graduates.

-         Good then. I just came over to say hi, I’ve got lectures soon. See you tonight, bro. – with these words Jeff disappeared as suddenly as he had come. Jared sighed happily with a little chuckle when Mac kissed him and approached the seniors with the girl still in his arms with her arms around his neck.

-         So there will be a party? – He raised a brow at them.

-         First we will be at forest near the lake. Jen and Steve will sing for us. – Mike smiled and Jensen gave him a killer look. – Then Dona invited us all to her house for Halloween.

-         That’s my mom but she hates Jen friends calling her Mrs. Ackles and she wants all of them to call her Dona. – With serious look Mac explained to Jared still hugging him like a giant toy. – Can I keep him Jen?!

-         What? – Jensen shook his head unbelieving what she was saying. – He is not a toy Mac…

-         But… - she stuck her bottom lip again.

-         Here’s the new player. – The warm voice of Alan came from the door. - I see that you already met Mac and Jen. Hope he didn’t exhaust you too much.   

-         Nice to meet you, Mr. Ackles…I’m Jared. - Jared smiled and shook the older man’s hand. – No, nothing I couldn’t handle.

-         Call me Alan please…That Mr. Ackles is too official.

-         Can I keep him dad? – Mac shyly hid her head again in Jared’s neck.

-         He is not a toy honey. – Alan smiled and took her carefully from Jared’s hands. – Sorry she is like this sometimes. And it seems that she have a new favorite.

-         Not only Mac it seems. – Mike smiled and Jens gaze became full of anger.

-         I have to go. Have to study. – He wheezed and hit Mike with his shoulder going to the showers.

-         I’m feeling very sweaty right now, so I’m going for a shower… Nice to meet you again… - the 15-year-old nodded to the Ackles family and to the seniors and headed for the lockers in the shower area.

 Jensen closed his eyes and leaned his forehead to the cold metal of the shower until the nice lukewarm water was cleaning the signs of the gym from his body. He had amazing self control but now was on his way to crush Mike’s neck. But the water made him calm and he just stayed like that in the shower, leaving the nice drops to refresh his skin and mind and to wash away the distracted thoughts from his head.

Jared got a towel and slipped into the shower that was the hardest to be seen into and scrubbed his body quickly, washing his hair from any signs of sweat. He then emerged in his boxers back at the lockers and began dressing, his wet hair sending small water drops down his naked chest.

Jens just got out from the shower with a towel around his hips and one on his neck. And he was stunned when he saw Jared like that. Jen swallowed heavy and it took all of his strength to not jump on him.

-         Hey you. – He finally managed to say. – Sorry about Mac it seems that she likes you. – Jens smiled cleaning some of the drops on his chest with the towel on his neck.

Jared jumped when Jensen’s voice suddenly reached him and turned around while fastening his jeans.

-         Well, it’s no problem, I have a little sister too… - he returned the smile, his mouth had gone dry when he saw the other man. He shook his head, blinking a little and bent over to his bag searching for a T-shirt.

-         Mac is the hugging type. She loves someone to pay attention to her. So I heard Mike invited you to the party in the woods. Don’t worry it wont be crowded just me Mike, Chris and an old friend and of course some beer. – Jensen smiled brushing his wet hair with the towel.

-         That’s good news because I’ve been itching for something like this ever since we moved here… - Jared pulled on a blue T- shirt and locked his locker with the basketball outfit.

-         Since when have you been playing basketball? – Jensen asked and went to his locker removing the towel from his hips to easily enter in his boxers. Some of the shiny drops of water were still on his body.

-         Well, it’s been… four years. – said Jared after a few moments consideration. Thank God he had his face turned to his bag right now…

-         Well you can make a future with this. – Jens said getting inside of light jeans and putting a white shirt over his black T-shirt. – Sorry about today I was a little bit angry at Mike and I wasn’t prepared to lead the practice today.

-         Don’t sweat it, it wasn’t so bad… - Jared slung his pack over his shoulder.  – So the team wasn’t doing so good, huh?

-         Not so bad. But this is our mortal enemy. Some of the guys are still angry to me that I left the team in the name of studying. – Jensen ruffled his hair with a hand. – Do you need a ride? – He asked with a gaze to Jared.

-         Yeah, sure… Studying is important so you can fulfill your dreams after that… - Jared followed Jensen out and towards the parking lot.

-         Here. – Jens shocked his head to one black Chevy truck. It was old model but he still loved it. – I want to be physiotherapist. You know to heal the injuries which you can get in the game. Don’t know why but I like to take care of people. – He smiled unlocking the doors.

-         That’s something useful… - nodded Jared and slipped in the passenger seat, folding his long legs in. – good luck with that, but I’m sure you’ll make it.

-         Where do you want me to leave you? – Jens made a fast look to Jared, his still wet hair covered his face and he swallowed again. That’s going to be one rough Halloween for him.

-         Crawford and Liberty. – Jared gave him brief directions and slumped in his seat a little, shaking black strands of hair from his eyes.
