3. Zach Gilford hates Matt/Julie! He says Julie always treated him like crap and as a fan he just really doesn't like Matt/Julie. Also having a relationship with Carlotta was his idea which is just ew. But I kinda have to disagree with him though and not because I'm a Matt/Julie fan. I mean, okay, yeah, Julie wasn't as nice to him as he was to her. And she totally did take him for granted but she didn't always treat him like crap. There were times when she was really sweet to him and even took care of his Grandma for him. Sigh... It just makes me sad that he hates Matt/Julie. They're
so my OTP of
FNL.
Oh and how are Tim, Lyla and Tyra all in the same grade as Matt? Seriously, wtf?! That
makes no sense at all. I mean in Season 1 they made a big deal about Tim's, Lyla's and Tyra's college bound futures or whatever so... I mean, that does not make any fucking sense!
But
I am happy about Tyra/Landry breaking up. Never liked or got it. I basically hated the Tyra/Landry murder-romance arc of Season 2. I'm probably the only person who doesn't like them though. I should probably watch out when I go outside tomorrow cos
I'm afraid I'll get bombarded with rotten eggs courtesy of the Landry/Tyra fans.
4.
ISWAK is totally not my first twdrama. I was looking through my "consumption" list on Allconsuming and I've actually seen
Marmalade Boy. It was when I had insomnia or something last year and was really into manga (shoujo manga to be exact. I was really into
Midnight Secretary... I wonder what's going on with that. It was major crack.) and I streamed it on youtube after reading the manga. I never finished it though. Okay,
Marmalade Boy was no better than
ISWAK (it might even have been worse, I can't exactly remember) especially the girl. Her fake!crying is just awful and really really fake. Ariel Lin is way better at the crying wangsting thing. But I didn't and still don't have anything mean to say about it. Y'know I was especially mean to
ISWAK for some reason. I mean, it's certainly better than
Passions. That show had a very hairy cop making out, marrying and having kids with a chimp named Precious. (Precious had a crush on Luis and would fantasize about making out with him, marrying him and having his kids. They had the actual actor do all that with the actual monkey.) And I used to watch that show religiously. (Do not judge me! I bet you all were into
Passions or some other soap too. Though no soap's as awesome as Passions.) I was not only mean about the plot and the acting but I was totally nitpicky about the actors. I'm actually starting to feel bad and a little guilty. Okay, I realize I sound like a complete nutjob cos I'm obsessing over being mean to a fricken tv show but I feel like I've kicked a puppy or something...
5. I tried really hard to get into
Hana Kimi (manga not drama). I just can't. I mean, I really like stories where the girl has to pretend to be a boy for some sort of reason (my favourite Secret Seven book was totally the one where the girl they were looking for was pretending to be a stable boy) but I can't get into this one. I've also decided to give up on
Hana Yori Dango and just watch the drama instead. I don't think I can read like 26 volumes of that story cos it clearly does not need that many volumes (
Skip Beat! I'm looking at you as well). I think I should read
Black Cat instead which sounds a bit
Cowboy Bebop-esque.
6. Finally listened to Beck's
Modern Guilt. It's not bad but not as brilliant as I thought it would be. Hm, so I guess that's why people have stopped getting excited about Beck's stuff since
Sea Change (my favourite Beck album, btw). I'm totally obsessed with the Stars album though. I know I'm
a little late to the party but I absolutely love it. And the songs refuse to leave my head.
7. Has anyone read
Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce (or anything written by Tamora Pierce)? I just bought it cos I heard she writes awesome fantasy books with really strong female characters... Please tell me it's good or her stuff in general is good.
8. Okay, so how is it possible for Mr Manorexia Japan, Kamenashi Kazuya to play a boxer on the heavy side? Don't get me wrong, I love the guy a whole lot but he's really scrawny! But Iwill watch
1 Pound Gospel no matter what cos it sounds so awesome and cracktastic!
9.
Nana 2 and
The Forbidden Kingdom both suck. I made through about halfway.
Also, Jet Lee>Jackie Chan.
10. I finished 20 hours of my community service! I'm halfway through! I only have to endure that horrid place for 5 more days! After that I will marathon
The Legend again (I will bet you it's even better the second time around) and
Spaced/
Shaun of the Dead/
Hot Fuzz (I am so jealous of everyone who's going to Comic Con and already bought the
Spaced DVD).
