Mother Courage

So I got into another show. It's called "Mother Courage and Her Children" and it's rehearsing over J-Term. So now I have two sets of lines to memorize, but the rehearsal schedules probably won't over-lap at all. I don't know what part I am yet, they didn't say, but woohoo!

I won an external hard drive in my office’s holiday party raffle on Friday – a little 250GB WD jobbie. It’s not the massive 2TB RAID device I’m asking Santa for, but hey – backup media is backup media and it’s certainly quiet and unobtrusive enough next to the Mac. Have a Richard Dawkins Christmas, Won't You?

..., Delusion and the Appetite for Wonder , both by Richard Dawkins. I also got a bag of Jelly-Belly beans. Thanks Cara and Chuck! I love the way Dawkins writes about science. In Climbing Mount Improbable he described the evolution of spider webs in such lovely and elegant prose that it made me forget that I have a vague terror of them. I can't wait to read The Greatest Show On Earth . Yay, me!
