Singapore General Elections 2009?

Speculation is rife that the next elections will happen sometime in 2009 instead of 2011. This is particularly so when the Singapore Elections Department has released the boundaries of altered polling districts , which is usually seen as a precursor for announcing the electoral divisions. Still Kinda Peeved...

So, I came across this on the internet... Kinda pissed me off. Does this sound familiar??? In the middle of a night in 1958, the sheriff came and arrested the couple. They were convicted but given a suspended sentence. In that year, only 4% of their fellow countrymen approved of their kind of relationship. There was extensive moral disapproval and a huge consensus behind the law....

Jogging suddenly became a crime!

A post from Mr Wang's blog . In his entry, he referred to a post from yawningbread's blog . What were the police expecting the joggers to do? Suddenly strip themselves, wave banners, and/or shout slogans? No, I don't think they were expecting anything other than a very ordinary run. So, simply put, it was undoubtedly harassment. Somebody ought to have filmed or recorded the conversation ...
