... across London, allowing the killer to enter the house and attempt to murder Holmes. Naturally he is not successful, due partially to Holmes's use of the wax bust and partially to Watson's figuring out the ruse, coming back, and decking the man just outside the sitting room. -- All that to say, This weekend's writing prompt is the word revenge . -- Good luck, and happy writing. :)
... spent last Monday afternoon on Navy Pier. Took the architectural river tour, which was nice. Younger daughter is flirting with the idea of becoming an architect and she was keen on the tour. Back to writing now after the layoff. Toying with a character and whether he's an amputee or quadraplegic. I made the mistake of tackling Duma Key during my time off and while I had read the first chapter ...
This being the latest RWA Hates Erotic Romance Writers kerfluffle. Has RWA screwed up? Yes-- I think some of their behavior in the past couple of years has been wrongity wrong with a side of wrong sauce. But I do believe that, slowly but surely, things will change. Wish me luck, guys. I sent off a query to an agent for Aurius . I think I'm going to like this process a lot better than querying publishers. E-mail seems to be a common submission format and response times are measured in days rather than months. Jans got up at 4:00 this morning to head to a gaming convention in Ohio. Four a.m. I went back to sleep 'til 8:00, but considering I wasn't able to...
...that I never really, seriously thought things like "I wonder how much work Shenandoah will be?" before I started work on it, or that I never really, seriously think about how much work I still have to do yet on The Great Valley .
