Not Acceptable

I've lived here most of my life and I maintain that temperatures like this are unacceptable unless it is going to snow.  Well it's not snowing, so I'm not ok with it.  An hour ago it was "feels like 6," SIX DEGREES!  A single digit.  Ummmm...NO.  I've about had it with this and I am seriously contemplating a move to somewhere warm.  Maybe Orlando and I could get a job at Disney, or somewhere ...

Digital Cameras and frozen fingers

Well, since we have been having an extended cold snap here* I thought I would attempt to take some photos of the sun behind the Chugach Mountains. Yeah, that didn't pan out anywhere near as well as I had planned. I cruised around for about 15 minutes looking for a good spot where I could a)get a wide angle shot of the mountains and b) not get any streetlights. Turns out, that's pretty hard to do...
