Night of the Assassins (1976)

... released elsewhere in Europe were somewhat spicier. Maribel Hidalgo is marvellous as the crazed and vicious widow of the deceased Lord Archibald. The best of Jess Franco’s movies in my opinion are the ones where he gives both the trippiness and the sleaze full rein. The Night of the Assassins is Franco Lite, but it’s still entertaining and it has a rather engaging oddness about it.

DeVour and Wendigo

... 2001 movie Wendigo was on IFC... Both are TRIPPY AS HELL horror flicks and I still don't have any clue what was going on much of the time in either of them... Loved Jensen Ackles in DeVour though... The trippiness was worth it just to watch him on screen for the entire thing...
