Thanksgiving, and Friends, and Tech and Christmas

... and a lot has happened. On Thursday we hosted a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner. Jim made fabulous Turkeys, wonderful stuffing, and pumpkin pies ... for christmas. We do not have exterior outlets to power exterior decoration lights from, but hopefully we can devise something! The other fun ...the fire place, but I'm hoping we do by next thanksgiving. At the moment, I'm waiting for Jim and the Henry'...

Our turkey still had a feather on it! That was so awesome. Homemade pumpkin pie with oak leaf pastry decoration, courtesy of primal_pastry . Made from scratch, starting with a pumpkin! That woman is so cool. The infamous chocolate cranberry cake: chocolate cake with a cranberry filling and chocolate glaze. Sugared cranberries and mint on top. It worked out even better ...

So, the shrine is up and the Christmas season has begun

... year if I recall correctly, I had a bout of flu around Thanksgiving and ended up not decorating at all, home or office. This year... vacuum, so the place was as clean as if I'd hosted Thanksgiving... well, almost as clean... so the next step is decking the halls, ...us).
