This may be the Summer of the Reharmonization

Struggling with music. The object is always to be unexpected yet inevitable, and I'm usually able to get one or the other. That sweet spot in between is proving elusive. I've been going back for more reharmonizations than usual these days, often discovering the fresh harmony that makes me want to change the melody to accomodate it...and then starting to feel that the new harmony isn't as fresh as...
