Not to be alarmist or anything...

...but a letter on SurvivalBlog tonight claims that the food shortages ai731 cites in her last post are starting to be noticed in Western Canada . Think I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow.

Adventures in Container Gardening

survivalblog.com !!! Ookay. I've been trying to grow a tomato plant for months now. The past few times were all half-hearted. Either I put it too close to the front door and it got little sun, or I forgot to water it daily, or it got eaten by bugs or a bird! GAH! Now I'm trying again, but I've bought a nicer pot and better dirt. :P Heirloom seeds. I know I'm wasting em with each failed try. Dude. ...
