I'm really interested in trying a reusable menstrual cup, but I'm not sure how it would be possible with my allergies. I have a pretty serious skin reaction to silicone; prolonged exposure to the nose pads on eyeglasses or silicone bakeware gives me these terrible sores. I also have a mild latex sensitivity. Are there any cups that are made of a different material? Thanks.
http://luxirare.com/thanksgiving-part-i/ Luxirare's Thanksgiving post is a pumpkin pie that looks like a pumpkin. She shows how she made the silicone mold, and I think the technique is easily stealable for cosplayers who want to make props and resin stuff that isn't flat on one side.

... a soul about this. He’d bragged about being given access, and of course about the special silicone creatures he’d been developing, creatures that could make their way into the human body through any orifice bigger than a match head and read your mind. Despite being killed by those same silicone creatures some years ago, The Professor still shook a mental fist in the direction of his grave. ...
.... Last weekend, I allocated a bit of time one evening to making a master (it was supposed to be a mold, but I forgot to carve the lettering backwards). Tonight, I'm going to make a silicone mold of it (fast/easy), and try casting polyester resin test medals (more time-consuming). Time permitting (and it probably won't), I'll try spray-painting one of the test medals (I have plastic primer and ...
We just made a pile of little pecan pies. So delicious. Too bad they are not for me. I got new cookie cutters and some silicone cupcake molds yesterday. The cookie cutters were actually a needed thing and the cupcake molds were marked down by 30% so I couldn't help myself. Silly how $10 of baking tools make my day. We went to Wal-Mart early to beat the post-church rush and do a little Christmas...
I know a lot of people in this community use natural and silicone free shampoo's and conditioner's, but because my hair is SO damaged I tend to go with what WORKS right now. I don't mean a little damaged... I mean bleached 6 or 7 times and dyed 4 type deal. But still, I am curious. Is Aussie okay for my hair? I'd like long term reviews from others. I've heard that a lot of people use Suave. I ...
...gothic. Examples include the zombie metaphors of "Monster" ("He ate my heart..."), the strange Cossack pop of "Teeth" ("Take a bite of my bad-girl meat...") and "Dance in the Dark" ("Silicone, saline, poison, inject me...") which gives shout-outs to deceased females such as Monroe, Plath, Princess Di and even JonBenét Ramsey. Darker still is "Speechless", a 1970s rock-inspired number that touches...
... "Ow ow ow OW! Aaaah," and then accidentally dropped it in the toilet. Ew. Washing it thoroughly with non anti-bacterial soap and warm water will make it ok again, won't it? It was the toilet in my house, not a public restroom, but still. I read the directions and it said to not use anti-bacterial soap because it could damage the silicone, but the thought of germs lurking on my cup freaks me out.
