School reports and last minute decisions

... me with it, you know who you are :) However, I am currently drowning in indecision as I can't decide whether to apply to Bristol or Durham. I had decided on Bristol because I thought Durham's too far north and isolated and public schoolish etc, but now I am reconsidering. Durham is great for English and a top university but I'm not sure.. Any advice would really be appreciated. I need it!
