Dad's Uncle Dewey, whom I met just once or twice when I was very young, was a movie theatre projectionist in the 1930s, 40s and 50s in the Sacramento area. He also made extra money working children's parties showing cartoons and such with them. Dad had a few of Uncle Dewey's film reels (16mm) and an old projector (no take-up reel), and his siblings had each been storing some as well. Family film...
