Yo La Tengo

By the way, Sunday night after dinner at Jimmy Carter's Mexican Cafe' (didn't know he was a restauranteur?), which is now one of my favorite places for Mexican, we went with a friend to see Yo La Tengo. They are on a rare west coast tour AND they kicked ass. So glad I finally got to see them.

My First Business Trip

I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel Washington, which was nice -- good toiletries :) We had a group dinner at Merkado (their spelling) on 14 & P NW, a nice latin inspired restaurant by local restauranteur David Winer .
