Resolution to resolutely do something resolutiony

This year I am dead serious about being dead serious. I know, I know, I say this every year. But just think how completely unserious I would be if I didn't resolve to be serious. I'd never get out of bed. I'd wash only on the solstice. I'd probably eat canned meat. Canned meat. So serious it is. About what remains to be seen. Or determined. Or really thought about at all.
