I heard about this on the news this early morning but figured I'd post the advisory for the happy afternoon/evening bus riders: 2:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2007 Due to the AIBA Championship Procession, State Street will be temporarily closed between Monroe and Wacker, and Monroe will be closed from State to Michigan. Back in business, sorta.

... able to return to the game today. Someone on BlueGartr gave us a link to a Korean FFXI fansite and the fix was described in detail. He basically had to set up a Virtual Private Newtowrk, which reroutes our internet through a different server whose address isn't blocked by POL. It has slowed down our connection speed quite alot, but the game is still playable and I'm so very glad to be back...

Whatup?

... bands at random intervals as well as odd pixelated patters scrolling on the screen. It is then that you notice the heat coming off of the machine! there is a 'pink' and one of the valves goes dark. power reroutes itself through different circuits burning out componants left and right untill the machine is dead, the screen goes blank and the 'computer' is dead. I hope you have enjoyed this.
