Thursday night I went to Much Ado About Nothing at Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh [1] for opening night of its three-week run. Good performance, *amazing* set design, although both I and a ...June. [1] If you don't know where Burning Coal is, it's near the Historic Oakwood district just north of downdown Raleigh. Here's a landmark: you can walk to it from the Krispy Kreme on Peace Street.

RIP Richard Todd

... for Doctor Who fans he's probably going to be better remembered for playing Sanders in "Kinda". Some of his other roles included Rob Roy in the Walt Disney production Rob Roy: The Highland Rogue , Sir Walter Raleigh in The Virgin Queen and Major John Howard in The Longest Day .
