Some reddit poster claims that to qualify as a "hipster" you have to wear a minimum of 5 pieces of irony. Non-clothing articles count (e.g., beards, Game Boys). Ironic activities (e.g., watching sports you don't genuinely like) probably also count. This guy I'm pretty sure counts as full hipster, though sadly he's still lacking ironic facial hair.
