A few bullet points on prizegiving: Winter uniform = SO NOT PRACTICAL in summer. God, it was so hot in that gym, I thought I was going to melt~ It is really hard to sing when everyone around you is about to cry and then you feel like crying and the whole school and a portion of your family are out there watching you not cry. For serious. I don't even know what's going to happen for choir next ...
...under his fingers. “He was a full member of Council by the time I joined the Watchers’Academy, so he played no active role in the life of the school. Beyond, I suppose, being there at prizegiving and Founders’ Day.” “Did you speak to him at Council meetings?” “I was only at full Council meetings when I had put up a paper, and was needed there to speak to it. ... bruises and scratches, and my muscles were amazingly sore… They’re much better now though, almost back to normal. Sunday we had the post-race brunch, which was pretty good, then the prizegiving, which was entertaining… Then we drove back to Christchurch again via Lewis Pass, stopping at Maruia ThermalSprings on the way. I got a high distinction in the Australian National Chemistry quiz (yep, I'm from NZ. Those things should say Australasian or Antipodean, really), and a credit in the Australasian - sorry, "University of New ...

Friday; Prizegiving, was boring as usual but also emotional and I had the unnerving feeling that I will never have to ... "to do" list is steadily growing, and I thought it would lessen. After many many hugs and prizegiving it was the most surreal moment I ever had as I walked out of those gates from the ...
Wow I won an industry award at prizegiving. Actually like the top award. Yeah right. So apparently I worked hard throughout the year...? And St Peters would know this how...? St Peters isn't as good as it thinks it is. Being at that prizegiving made me realise that it's pretty much academia, music and sport. And then there's a big black line where it ends. ...
Well prizegiving is tonight. And I am wearing the uniform with shorts even though we have to wear long pants and tie. However I don't care, if any teacher has a problem with that they can go to hell cos I am signed out for the year and they technically can't tell me what to do. More importantly, I wonder if I will get a prize.......? To be continued........
