xmas update

jmutate came over yesterday eve, and helped us set up and knock down a lasagna. We have two more left; one for tonight, one for valentine's day (in freezer). He also gave me a nice xmas 'zent: we sat down and went through the troubleshooting procedure for the ASR-10 which had been on the fritz. Got off easy this time -- one of the pins of a PSU bunch cable had walked out of its socket....

July 5 movie: Holiday Inn. I rented this from Netflix so I could rip the holiday songs, and then I never got around to it until this past weekend, when I needed the Fourth of July songs, "Say it with Firecrackers / Song of Freedom." By the way I forgot to mention that I did a special show of patriotic songs and songs about America on Sunday. I've done this show every Fourth of July for years:...
