Apparently, a few weeks back, Anthony Gallegos of the RebelFM podcast got to try Cave Story Wii at a Nintendo event... (Not a whole lot of revelations about the Wii port or anything, but I thought the trivia about Pixel was worth sharing, anyway. ;) )

Book sent to printers; tentative base pricing now confirmed.

The Fanbook has been ordered! Details coming... soon. I can say that the base price (before shipping) has been knocked down to under $9.50 US, thanks in no small part to the outpouring of support you've all shown here. We expect to have shipping and ordering details soon. All going according to plan (fingers crossed, here) we should be able to ship in time for Christmas. ♥

GTA printers for self-published authors

Any self-published authors in this community? My partner self-published a book through Lulu.com, but shipping prices from the States have skyrocketed, so we’re in the market for a local printer who can take over at a comparable production price. Recommendations much appreciated.

does anyone have a recommendation for a local printer/print shop? i'm sure i could send hi-res files anywhere, but i'd prefer to support a local business if possible. i'm looking for a professional and competitively priced vendor (this might be a rush job so cost is very much a make-or-break part of it) to print a batch of flyers/postcards this week. "don't use these guys" advice is also welcomed...

Monitor fail!

..., too. That monitor is HIDEOUSLY big and heavy. I've been looking for any reason to toss it off the nearest bridge into oncoming traffic. But I guess it gets to continue being in one piece. :P Ironically, what I need the setup for doesn't even require good resolution. It just needs to connect to printers and print things. It just feels like I should get the display working right, you know?
