staying in a relationship when you're a crazy academic... how do you do it?

Hi, I have post traumatic stress disorder from a variety of shitty things that have happened to me in the past. I try not to think about it, and I’m in therapy and on meds, but inevitably anxiety will strike, my heart races and I hyperventilate (in a controlled kind of way through my nose so not everyone notices. ... Food made me wanna die. Anyways- I got down to 110. Great! But then I moved back to NY and fell very ill. I was diagnosed with bipolar, post traumatic stress disorder, irritable bowel syndrome, OCD, and the docs are looking into other probs. I have boon outa school for 8 weeks bc of my being sick. It is depressing...
