Some of the plumcots (or pluot) butter that I canned today. It is amazing that 18lbs of plumcots turn into only 3 pints of fruit butter. Of all my preserves, this is my favorite, not only because of it’s tangy sweetflavor and gorgeous color, but also because of it’s simplicity; it only has two ingredients, plumcots and sugar.

DIET SIERRA MIST 'RUBY SPLASH' is my new shit. God damn I want to inject this into my veins its so good. I need something healthy to munch on, but I really want salt and vinegar chips. Must resist....eat a plumcot.
... myself eat a boiled egg, but my stomach rebelled at the though of eating anything. I drank some mint tea at work, and managed to stuff down the egg and a tangelo. It was a disappointing dinner. I had a plumcot when I got home, so of course I'm starving again, and there's nothing to eat in the house that doesn't require cooking...damn it all... But, back to the book... The part I'm at right now ...
