This is the storm that's causing our wild weather. Right now it's bearing down on the Gulf of Alaska. To give you an idea of its reach, Seattle doesn't even appear on this image. If you look closely at the right-hand side, you can see the lowest landmass in roughly the shape of a triangle. That's the northwest part of the Olympic Peninsula, so Seattle would be a little to the right of that. ...
