.... I'd cleaned the pond today and I was wondering if anything like that could have done it. The guy at the emergency line didn't think it was the colder water, but I was thinking that I forgot to add the water conditioner. That was the only thing I did differently... She was also older than any goldfish I'd ever had, outliving her pondmate JP by almost a year. So what could have caused this?

Handmade Doll

... alive? I'm sure they didn't mean to give her this expression of resigned dumbfoundedness, but they couldn't stop it. I got this today at a doll show and probably paid too much. I like thinking about how much this doll has survived to come all the way though time and space. How her maker's desperate heart survives in her face; perhaps even outliving her maker, and reaches out to break my heart.
