solar sailors

I'm taking an astronomy class over the summer and it gets me thinking about sailor moon, haha. it's funny because sailor moon is the reason i got involved in art in the first place. I learned how to draw from copying pictures out of the manga I own. So I figured, eight years later, it was time to pay a little homage to my muses. Here are Mercury and Venus, linework.

Riding the Metro Bus always gets me generally depressed. I think it's because of all of the jerks that ride it. They're always loud and obnoxious and rude... But then you have that one sweet old guy that strikes up conversation with you out of the blue and just makes you feel better about the bus-riding community as a whole. They're not all assholes.
