Beowulf follows the story to the letter. The graphics combine live action models with CGI graphics, leading to crisp and realistic looking animated models that look like the actors doing the voices. All of the gore and violence is presented in full in the Director's Cut I watched. All in all, this is an excellent film. I highly recommend it.
