Movie Review: Indiana Jones 4: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

... were annoying. I enjoyed all the actors and the parts they played. The action scenes were entertaining. It is a certain plot device at the end that I did not like. My willing suspension of disbelieve could only take me just so far. I was having so much fun and then it insulted my intelligence. I totally admit that despite the flaws the movie is worth watching. The whole group of us had fun.

Movie Review: Iron Man

I would like to thank Robert Downey Jr. for making a fantastic movie! The fact that its about a comic hero is just a big bonus. The Iron Man movie is just plain GREAT! I won't do a full review since the free world has seen this movie over the weekend. (Innocent Bystander fully reviewed it). Run to see this movie again. RUN!

Movie Review: Cloverfield Sucks…Darn it!

...10. I would love to tell you that I saw a great movie Monday night, but I cannot. I did not really see much of it at all. The movie was so jittery it was like viewing crack addicted Ferrets in search... several people had thrown up! Movie Review: Cougar Club

... to be, since I expected zilch. It did have a plot, so I cannot complain about that. I remember many a movie from the 70's & 80's that had a plot line so thin I could see through it. Sometimes I would rather watch a movie I expect to be bad than a movie I had high hopes for that crashed and burned. You should only rent this movie if you like stupidity & breasts.

Movie Review: The More the Merrier, 1943

...I like it light and fluffy! There is nothing deep going on here, just good clean amusement. It is a romantic comedy, but not in the curRent chick-flick sort of way. It is just relaxing & fun. Movie Review: Why Did I Get Married?

... night. I usually like Tyler Perry movies, but I think I love this one. Ned wandered by 1/2 of the way into the film and ended up watching it with me. It's good. Several movies have a pivotal "Bam" moment that changes the direction of the film. I saw some of it coming, but not like Tyler Perry did it! The 80/20 Rule was amusing and too true. Nooo I’m not going to explain it, rent the movie.

Movie Review: The Bank Job

... movies!) We both enjoyed the film. It is based on a true story of the odd happenings in the early 70's. These events all collide to make a pretty good flick. I feel no need to explain or give away the plot. It is worth seeing. If you are still unsure about the movie, go at a bargain hour. It is worth paying actual money for, despite the fact that Jason Statham never takes his shirt off :-(

In Bruges, Movie Review

... In Bruges ' as a preview Wednesday night. (I promise not to give anything away). The movie is about two UK hit men hiding out in a cute little Flemish town. We both ...along side me and he is a much bigger critic. I have to warn you that the movie has a serious plot and the scenes of violence were graphic. I highly recommend this movie to anyone not under 15 or over 80. Go revel in the craziness.
