I went outside to spray the yard for bugs, and while I was at it some of them came around to see what I was up to. Mosquitoes mostly, and those things were HUGE! I don't know if they live off human blood or the fuel of low flying planes, but damn. Hopefully my meager offering of poison will at least slow them down long enough for people to be able to load their shotguns.

Summary of my first year of med school

...Rimma, Jack, Teresa, Chris and I went to New Orleans to party it up and eat some crawdads after the Neuro midterm. Had some dramas with Chris. Worked so hard to go to Beijing for the summer all to be ruined by the swine flu. Battled cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, ants, etc. Saw some kittens in my backyard today! All this to wind up to now. Nicaragua should be fun. Hope I can deliver some babies!
