... that name? It seems as though the namers of Bisquick were less deliberately obfuscating, since the name is really an amalgam of "biscuit" and "quick." However, the use of "qu" to make a hard "k" sound is far from quommon in Ameriquan English. The misspellers not only get it wrong, but choose a particularly awkward way to do it. And I can't get the small of biscuits out of my clothes.
